This Montessori floor crib promotes a natural approach to the freedom of movement.
With this floor bed children are free to move and get in and out of the bedwithout any help from their parents. Its lower side enhances a safe access of the child to the bed.
The frame is raised off the ground to allow air circulation under the mattress top in order to prevent moisture build-up.
The roll-on slats, handcrafted from birch plywood, make it very easy to clean under the bed: simply lift up the mattress and roll up the slats.
The absence of bars will allow children to have a full view of the room they are in, so that they can go to their parents alone and calmly, without crying to draw attention.
We have chosen to use a high-quality, three-ply 22 mm spruce wood. It differs from other types of wood for its solidity. E.g. if the cot is placed in a house with underfloor heating, this wood will not warp.

We handcraft using the best natural wood, each component is carefully polished and sanded.
Weuse an EN71-certified non-toxic clear paint to avoid any risk to your children.
We recommend the use of a damp cloth for cleaning.
